Solano Cities Cracking Down on Bums in Downtown Areas. Vacaville, Fairfield,
and Suisun are good examples. Drugs are usually related to why people elect
to behave like bums. Downtown areas are not the ideal hang out for “bums”
or “homeless” due to changes at Solano’s active police departments.
The new term is “bum”. Is this more politically correct than “homeless”?
Solano studies show some label people homeless if they incorrectly appear to
be. The truly needy may be homeless, not on drugs and working hard to improve
their lives.
